It's been a long time in the making but I finally finished the first of my online classes and am currently running it with a few wonderful creative individuals from all over the world. I currently have students from as close as Philadelphia and as far as Portugal and Tahiti. It is such a pleasure to work with no boundaries of time and space. That's why I love being online and connecting with people all over the world!
In short after working in the accessory design business for years {I won't say how many} and teaching at Parsons, the Academy of Art University Online and starting Monday at FIT and finishing the first draft for my Accessory Design Textbook with Fairchild Books I've build a short, but focused 5 week online course that will give you the Fundamentals of Accessory Design. That wasn't short at all, but I promise once my book is out, it will complement the experience tremendously. But while it's still in the editing and design phase I am referencing online photos, sketches and video sources that are widely available but hard to compile together.
Each week during the course a topic opens up with reading and lots of visual examples for every topic. In addition to that each student gets an hour a week with me on Skype to discuss the weekly projects and reading.
