I am so excited to finally feel the warm sun I already pulled all my summer shoes and clothes out and started buying floral summer dresses. Next on my agenda was running out to get my hair cropped. I like it really short, especially in the summer. It's easy to maintain and wear hats with. I've been getting my hair cut at the same place YUI salon for awhile now and love going back there. A sweet small Japanese salon with impeccable service, perfect haircuts and hair-color and a crew of delightful AND funny staff. Meg has tended to my locks through every whim of mine and endured my "Shorter!, Shorter!" demands with a smile. And did I say she gives the best head and shoulder massage! And if you want amazing color you have to try Naoki {an award winning Japanese hair colorist/stylis} who is in New York every other month or so, flying in from Japan. I can't rave enough about these guys. They've kept my hair looking good and made me laugh along the way. Here are some photos from yesterday's visit. I have no idea how, but the video I shot with them got deleted while I was downloading it. Aghhh... priceless footage of Naoki showing off his wardrobe and his Alexander McQueen for Puma sneakers. He is one stylish man! Check out his triple-breasted vest and shirt with gradating heart print.
Not sure if Meg was happy I loved my haircut or just happy I was finally done with the photos...
