I love Rachel Antonoff's theatrical productions, and this season she didn't disappoint again! This time it was a mystery at Lafayette House. Each room unveiled a new suspect and a new mystery to be solved! You got to admit the girl has imagination and delivers on adorable feminine clothes! Here are the suspects in order of appearance:
Suspect 1: Sister. Thirteen months apart in age, had been murderously jealous of The Victim since her humiliating defeat in the 2nd grade spelling bee over the word "logophile".
Suspect 2: Lover. Passionately dated for 3 months. Their arguments roused the neighbors as often as their dalliance.
Suspect 3: BFF. Best friends since bunking at Ballet Camp Monroe. Always supportive of The Victim, but she herself didn't have the feet.
Suspect 5: Therapist. Just kind of a weirdo.
Suspect 6: Neighbor. Barely a wink of sleep. {See suspect 2}
Suspect 8: Landlord. The Victim was constantly complaining about the lack of heat and once withheld rent after seeing a mouse.
Not sure if this was Suspect 9: Crazy Fan or Suspect 10: Butcher. The deceased had an open tab for the baby lamb chops she consumed at an alarming rate. It had not been paid for 3 months.
And my favorite Suspect 11: Fellow ballerina. Despised the victim since loosing the role of Odette in Swan Lake to her and was outraged when The Victim borrowed her favorite dress and returned it without dry cleaning it and with a small tear in the hem.
So tell me now... how brilliant is this presentation?!?
