realize I am totally partial to Parsons students, but what would you do if you happen to see their work day in and day out and realize that the hallways of the school itself are filled with brimming talent. And yes, some of them are ridiculous and some of them are brilliant but it's all great fun, at least for me. I get to grade the work and woo and ahh, and suggest "better" ideas, while they do all the work. So without further adieu here is the newest latest work of Alexa Winner. And no she is not the model although she could have been {she IS tall, skinny and glam}. Alexa is a Parson's IDC student, who already has her own line of accessories and dresses and in addition to having a full schedule of classes finds time to come up with concepts, style and shoot fashion. Like this one for example... Next, I HAVE to shoot her apartment. She did an incredible job decorating a two bedroom Nolita apartment with with her room mate. You'd think she was an interior designer, on top of everything else. I guess if you are a designer you can do it all! :)
New York offers so many opportunities to mix harsh reality and feminine elegance and get whistled at. But make those guys pose and see what happens then... Manly stiff poses, standing a foot shorter than a pretty girl in a sparkly dress! I'd like to see those guys say: "PAIETTE" or "SEQUINS"
