It seems that last night was the official New York Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week opening with parties all around town. The lovely Deanne from DreamSequins hosted a party for fellows fashion bloggers at one of my favorite stores downtown NY called Debut. If you are an emerging designer, you should know Lisa Weiss - owner of DebutNY. She might be one of your best bets to have your line of clothes or accessories enter the cool downtown fashion scene. Alexa Winner was my partner in party -"crime" for the rest of the evening and graciously AND elegantly snuck me into the Paper magazine party afterwords. See photos in the next post.
