The AAU fashion show at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week was easily one of my favorite shows. Seven recent fashion design graduates from the Fashion, Textile and Knitwear Design programs showed their women's wear collections. Well edited collections and refreshing ideas came down the runway under the upbeat tunes of music by Scott Ewalt. Here is one of my favorites:
Richelle Valenzuela's gem-facets inspired silk organza collection.
He used silk organza and satin faced organza in gunmetal grey and slate blue to create intricate dimensional designs.
