Martina Marcellin, a creative director from Toronto, Canada attended the annual Toronto Outdoor Art Show last week and met some amazing artists. She has graciously taken photographs of their work and gathered info for the BobbinTalk readers.
The first artist she is introducing to us is Dana and her "Damned Dollies".
Dana's handmade dolls have just the right amount of "pissed off" and cuteness to them to make me smile. I've always been just a little creeped out by realistic looking doll faces, but these little creatures are just plain fun and fashionable! I want every single one of them.
Don't you love their outfits and facial expressions?! I truly appreciate Dana's attention to detail and coordination of fabrics, buttons, hair and make up! Simply perfection!
Dana has expanded into creating brooches, t-shirts and hoodies with silkscreen prints of the disgruntled little ladies!
Browse through the official Damned Dollies website {HERE} and in her Etsy shop {HERE} to discover all the unique 5" tall works of art!
